Any tips?

Do you mean painting the horn to prevent ringing?
If so, the sand & paint method is the least expensive & probably the most cost effective.
6 or 7 coats of paint, layered with sand between each coat.

Or do you mean painting to rejuvenate the look of the inside of the horn?
If so, I've used spray cans of grey undercoat followed by spray cans of final top coat in the colour of your choice....as long as it's black.

Remember that preparation is the key, so lots of sanding & filling if required. Final sand with wet & dry.

Just the inside finish. Down near the throat looks difficult.

Spraying down in a hole is tricky, the overspray has nowhere to go, and the suface angle is nil. For a spraycan job, I've used the small (6 oz?) cans sold as automotive touch-up. You can get the can down in there and control it better. Short bursts help avoid the heavy sags. Pretend you're robbing a bank; get in, get it all, get out quick.
